Effective Automation of Distribution Systems With Joint Integration of DGs/ SVCs Considering Reconfiguration Capability by Jellyfish Search Algorithm

Power system operators and planners have progressively shown an interest in maximizing distribution automation technologies. The automated systems (ADS) provide the capability of efficient reliable control which require optimal operation strategy to status line switches also dispatch controllable devices. Therefore, this paper introduces robust technique based on Jellyfish Search Algorithm (JFSA) for Volt/VAr coordination ADSs joint reconfiguration (DSR), distributed generation units (DGs) integration Distribution static VAr compensators (SVCs) operation. suggested is used dynamic ADS order minimize losses reduce emissions when considering regular daily loading conditions. 33-bus 69-bus delivery DSs been subjected a variety scenarios. These situations are mostly concerned with achieving optimum control, as well validating proposed methodology. Despite problem’s complexity, JFSA be best solution all cases considered. Furthermore, comparison other similar approaches demonstrates its usefulness method modern centers.
